Celestine is joint managing director of her own consultancy. Which she helped set up in 1986 to assist organisations to improve their profit potential through more effective business processes and people management.
Previously Celestine held a number of management and executive positions with IBM Australia Ltd. These included, Credit Manager, Methods & Procedures Auditor for Australia, New Zealand and S.E. Asia, Planning & Controls Manager for the engineering division, Country Maintenance Parts Manager and PC Business Unit Manager responsible for setting up the company and infrastructure to launch and market the personal computer in Australia. Her final role with IBM was as the Northern Region Administration Manager with all administration from the Northern Territory, Queensland, the ACT and New South Wales reporting through to her.
As a consultant Celestine provides advice and assistance to both the public and private sectors in strategic and business planning, and project management. Working with multiple clients and different projects/programs, often as the Project/Program Director, or project team mentor, providing support and guidance at all levels. The projects can range from the launch of new products or services, research and development, organisation re-engineering, implementation of information technology systems and design and implementation of human resource programs.
She has acted as a consultant to and developed training programs, both here and overseas, for many major Australian and international organisations including, Goodman Fielder, Bankers Trust, British Telecom, Rabobank, Tower Life, Optus, NSW Sport & Recreation, NZ Ministry of Health, Hewlett Packard and Colonial State Bank.
Celestine is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors; an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management; a Project Management Institute accredited Project Management Professional, and holds a Master Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.
