Alan, a director of Greco Schwartz Pty Ltd, has had over 23 years consulting experience. He has a track record in strategic planning, culture change, management consulting, project management, education, training, facilitation, competency standards and assessment. He has worked with over 80 organisations involved in finance, construction, information management, engineering, telecommunications, education, health, aged care, transportation, housing, utilities, retailing, entertainment, exhibition, infrastructure, manufacturing, defence and engineering.
Alan facilitates strategic planning, value management, stakeholder consultation, strategic alliance and project initiation workshops. Achievements include developing strategies, organisational frameworks, management consulting (industry) standards, systems and guides.
Alan has successfully completed strategic planning engagements for a range of Clients including the Institute of Management Consultants, Department of Commerce, Roads & Traffic Authority, Royal Agricultural Society and University of Sydney. Typically, Alan has facilitated workshops with Senior Managers, developed implementation plans and where required, managed implementation. Alan’s focus is on building consensus (where possible), promoting strategic thinking, optimizing decision making and closing the implementation gap between strategy and operations. Alan approaches engagements with an ‘open mind’, developing approaches best suited to the organisation, senior management and staff.
He is an approved assessor for two professional accreditation schemes – ‘Registered Project Manager’ awards (Australian Institute of Project Management) and internationally recognised ’Certified Management Consultant’ (Institute of Management Consultants).
