Tao De Haas

Tao De Haas is a highly experienced professional. He has a unique, holistic approach together with a remarkable ability to combine psychotherapeutic theory and social awareness with practical, simple, and easy to implement strategies.

Born in the Netherlands in 1950, Tao de Haas moved to Australia in 1973. For over twenty-five years Tao has helped of thousands of people achieve their full potential through his lectures, seminars, workshops, consulting work, mentoring and coaching.

Tao is a regular keynote speaker for business organisations and has delivered educational programmes in Europe.

Tao De Haas specialises in emotional intelligence (EQ), people skills, communication, management,and leadership training.

Tao makes regular appearances on national radio and television programs. He has been interviewed on all major Sydney radio stations as well as several interviews on ABC radio 2BL. ABC TV The 7.30 report did a feature on his work with students and parents in preparation for the HSC exams. Tao also made several appearances on Channel 10's 'Good morning Australia', as well as numerous appearances on Channel 7’s Sunrise program were he deals with current relationship topics. He is a published author and writes for The Herald newspaper as well as magazines such as Charter, published by the Institude of Chartered Accountants Australia. Tao De Haas has been a senior lecturer in counselling at two main Sydney colleges. Known for his passionate, creative, inspiring, and entertaining teaching methods he received the 'most inspirational lecturer' of the year award when lecturing at Nature Care college in Sydney, Tao has worked as an educator/trainer with the Conflict Resolution Network in Sydney.

Tao has also worked with both teachers, parents and students delivering a programme in many highschools called "Achieving Your Personal Best". This programme was designed to help students and their parents mentally prepare for HSC exams. (This programme was featured on the ABC's 7.30 Report.)

Tao De Haas is a musician and artist. He composed the music for his CD The Ultimate Stress Buster, Meditation CD together with the talented Sydney composer Matthew Jones. Tao uses his creativity in supporting people to discover and express their unique gifts. Tao De Haas loves his work and lives his passion.
